
Actually, we used the same float as last year, just transformed it into a boat of sorts for the drowning in debt theme of our Buck The Norm presence at the annual Ghouls Gone Wild parade this year.

Beware of the norm was our credit union Gen Y message to 30,000-plus spectators at this night-time city parade. Our surfer "victim" riled up the crowd at dusk, with our debt-hungry sharks hot on his trail.


Of course, the Third Degree behind the scenes prep is always entertainment in itself around the office. Getting the costumes just right. Perfecting our blood-spatter technique.

The Buck The Norm Gen Y financial empowerment initiative is powered, of course, by the always progressive, and not too blood-shy either, Tinker Federal Credit Union. In fact, I don't think I can say I often attend marketing meetings where the client actually says "the more fake blood the better as far as I'm concerned." Aww. TFCU, you're after our own ghoulish hearts.

So from last year's corporate zombies, to this year's blood thirsty sharks Buck The Norm just keeps raising the bucking (and bloodcurdling) bar.
